The Barrington Park District facilities are available for rent for birthday parties, bridal showers, corporate retreats, business meetings, and more. The Barrington Park District also has shelters and picnic groves for rent. They’re perfect for those summer family reunions! And don’t forget that we also have customized birthday parties that can turn any birthday into a special occasion (see page 5). Please note: The Barrington Park District’s policy on alcohol is strictly enforced. Additional fees and usage permits will apply. Reservations for picnic shelters and groves are taken after February 1 of each year.

Pool, Golf, Groves, Picnic Shelters, and Playgrounds Fitness & Recreation Center Rooms and Facilities Barrington Room $150/$175/$165 per hour Our beautiful new community room at the Fitness & Recreation Center seats up to 160 people and features a full catering kitchen, a stage, a wonderful outdoor patio, and full audio/visual capabilities.

Multi-Purpose Rooms A & B: $125/$150/$140 per hour
Our new Multi-Purpose Room can be rented for special occasions, corporate retreats, presentations, birthday parties, and much more!
Gymnasiums A & B: $55/$80/$65 per hour, per gym
Our state-of-the-art double gym is a spectacular setting for all your athletic events, sports-related parties, team practices, or just a wide-open area to run, run, run!
Batting Cages/Indoor Golf: $30/$60 per hour, per cage
Come take some swings in our new retractable batting cages. Available to individuals and teams for an hourly rental fee.
Aqualusion Water Park
Our amazing pool is ideal for group oriented gatherings and parties. The entire water park is available to rent Monday through Sunday during the evenings from 8:00–9:30pm. Maximum of 300 participants per private party.
Pool Lawn A & B
Our pool lawn adjacent to the Aqualusion Water Park may be rented Monday through Sunday during open swim hours (12:00–8:00 pm). Lawns are rented on a 2-hour minimum basis (no alcoholic beverages or glass containers permitted).
Golf Learning Center
Gather a group of friends and coordinate a golf outing at our 5-hole, par 3 Golf Learning Center. Also perfect for golf-themed birthday parties!
Citizens Park Shelters
Two shelters (without electric) are available for rent on weekdays/weekends. During the months of June through August, they are available on weekends only. Each shelter holds 40–50 people comfortably.
Langendorf Park Shelters
Two shelters are available for rent on weekends during the months of June through August. Each shelter holds 40–50 people comfortably. Langendorf Park has a large shaded picnic area near the playgrounds and baseball fields. Groups of 400 can be accommodated. Shelter F features electric.
Miller Park Playground & Picnic Grove
Two playgrounds (one handicapaccessible) and limited picnic groves are available.
Scout Cabin
Nestled in the middle of Miller Park, this cozy cabin offers an intimate space for meetings, reunions, and troop meetings. To reserve, e-mail Claire Leininger at Claire.Leininger@gmail.com.

Sand Volleyball Courts
The Sand Volleyball Courts at Langendorf Park are available for rental when they are not being used by Park District programs.
All indoor facility Pepper Family Treehouse: $75/$100/$90 per hour
The Citizens Park Pepper Family Treehouse is ideal for kids’ birthday parties, small gatherings (max is 30 people), or any other event where kids just want to be kids.
Jewel Tea Pavilion: $75/$100/$90 per hour
The Jewel Tea Pavilion at Citizens Park is perfect for weddings,receptions, bridal/baby showers, and more. This 1,900-square-foot space has a full commercial catering kitchen and can accommodate up to 110 people. It can be used year round; it is both heated and cooled and comes complete with awoodburning fireplace! The Pavilion also has the ability to become a fully open-air space with state-of-the-artretractable glass doors. [more here]
The Lodge:$60/$85/$75 per hour
The Lodge at Citizens Park is also heated and air-conditioned, making it a great year-round space for small events such as corporate board meetings, birthday parties, or small gatherings (max is 30 people).
Robert Soule Amphitheater:$50/$75/$65 per hour
The beautiful Robert Soule Amphitheater is perfect for concerts or stage gatherings. It features a full stage with electric. Terraced seating on the grass can accommodate up to 200 spectators.
John Larkins Bell Gazebo: $35/$50/$40 per hour
The Gazebo is a wonderful spot for weddings or family photos or small, intimate gatherings.
Rent Picnic Equipment, Too!
The Park District has two 3’x6’ large grills, 1 small grill, and 1 20’x30’ tent for rent. Available only at our picnic areas from April 1–November 1. Tables and chairs are provided with all indoor rentals.
Rental Information & Policies
- The Lodge and the Pavilion at Citizens Park, as well as all rooms in the Fitness and Recreation Center, may be reserved from 9am. to 10:00pm.
- Outdoor facilities (shelters, Treehouse, etc.) may be rented between the hours of 9am. to dusk. Deposits and Reservations
- There is a $100 maintenance deposit on the Barrington Room, Gym, Pavilion, The Lodge, and the Pepper Family Treehouse.
- Renters must be 25 years or older.
- Rentals will not be reserved without full payment, maintenance deposit and renter’s signature on the contract. A 10% service charge will be deducted from all refund requests. Alcohol and Smoking Policy
- No alcohol is permitted in any Park facility except for designated areas. Special procedures, application, and fees are required. For further information, see our website at www.barringtonparkdistrict.org.
- Smoking is not permitted in any building.
General Rental Regulations
- No animals are permitted on Park District grounds.
- No lighting effects employing actual fire are allowed. This prohibits the use of candles, lighted lanterns, torches, etc.
- No confetti, glitter, flower petals, silly string, etc. No wax or abrasive materials may be used on the floors of any indoor rooms.
- The Barrington Park District is not responsible for damage or loss of personal property or for any injuries that may occur to renters or their attendees.
