SUMMARY:Day Trip: Madison\, Wisconsin Food Tour
DESCRIPTION:Sec.#\nDay\nDate\nTime\nFee\n\n\n01\nWed.\n5/17\n8:30am – 4:30pm\n$139/$144 (1 day)\n\n\n\nJoin us for a day devoted to Wisconsin food! Start the morning relaxing on the coach bus with a slice of cherry or cheese Kringle made in Racine. Once in Madison\, sample classic Wisconsin fare as we tour the downtown Capitol Square and neighboring areas – a great way to experience “real Wisconsin” flavors while discovering hidden gems! Enjoy three stops with generous “samples” including a 1/4lb brat burger and beer tasting at Great Dane Brew Pub\, a tour of the Capitol\, and cheese curds\, wings and sliders at Madison’s. We’ll end the tour with real Wisconsin ice cream for dessert at Der Rathskeller on UW Campus. On the way home\, snack on fresh Bavarian pretzel bites made in Milwaukee. This trip is the perfect outing with friends\, family\, or co-workers. Considerable walking involved with this trip. Registration deadline: May 5 (spaces permitting). Transportation provided via Park District van to McHenry then motor coach bus to Madison. \n  \nRegister Now \n  \n  \nTrip Policies & Cancellations \nSuggested Ages for Trips\nAdult/Active trips are appropriate for anyone ages 18 and over.\nMature Adult trips are most appropriate for ages 55 and up\, but all adults are welcome. \nPick-up/Drop-off Times\nPick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center – lobby unless otherwise noted. Departure times are set and abided by. If changes occur\, participants will be notified by phone. Return times may vary depending on traffic or weather conditions; we make every attempt to return by the designated time. \nRefunds\nRefunds are only given under the following conditions:\n1: The trip is cancelled by the Barrington Park District.\n2: The person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip.\n3: The Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket.\nIf we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date (if one is listed)\, then the trip will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued. All payments are required in full at time of registration. Please notify the Park District in advance if any special ADA or dietary accommodations are needed for the trip.
