SUMMARY:Day Trip: Multi-Cultural Food Tour of Chicago
DESCRIPTION:Sec.#\nDay\nDate\nTime\nFee\n\n\n01\nThur.\n3/14\n8:45am – 4:00pm\n$140/$145 (1 day)\n\n\n\nBack by popular demand! We will take a motor coach bus into the city where we will meet our tour guide (Gilbert) for our tasty tour. We will visit Chinatown\, a rich and vibrant neighborhood steeped in tradition. While here\, you will enjoy your favorite appetizer. Time permitting\, you may stroll along the main street to take in the sights and sounds of Chinatown. Next is a stop in the quaint neighborhood of Little Italy. Immerse yourself in the exquisite aromas and multi-layered flavors of Italy as you enjoy a savory sampling of traditional favorites! Our day concludes in Greektown\, one of Chicago ‘s most recognized neighborhoods. Fanciful dessert and authentic flaming Cheese (Saganaki) await as you are transported to the Mediterranean. Opa! Your tummy will be left full and you will learn about each neighborhood’s unique history.  You won’t want to miss this tour! Minimum walking involved with this trip. Registration deadline: February 14 (spaces permitting). Transportation provided via motor coach bus. \nRegistration for this program/event begins at 9:00am on 12/7 for residents and 12/14 for non-residents. \nRegister Now \n  \n  \nTrip Policies & Cancellations \nSuggested Ages for Trips\nAdult/Active trips are appropriate for anyone ages 18 and over.\nMature Adult trips are most appropriate for ages 55 and up\, but all adults are welcome. \nPick-up/Drop-off Times\nPick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center – lobby unless otherwise noted. Departure times are set and abided by. If changes occur\, participants will be notified by phone. Return times may vary depending on traffic or weather conditions; we make every attempt to return by the designated time. \nRefunds\nRefunds are only given under the following conditions:\n1: The trip is cancelled by the Barrington Park District.\n2: The person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip.\n3: The Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket.\nIf we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date (if one is listed)\, then the trip will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued. All payments are required in full at time of registration. Please notify the Park District in advance if any special ADA or dietary accommodations are needed for the trip.
