Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is transported to modern-day New York City as two young lovers find themselves caught between warring street gangs. Their struggle to survive in a world of hate\, violence and prejudice is one of the most innovative\, heart-wrenching and relevant musical dramas of our time. Broadway legends Arthur Laurents\, Leonard Bernstein\, Stephen Sondheim and Jerome Robbins created a show that is both ageless and as fresh as tomorrow’s headlines. Join us for this landmark musical and epic tale of eternal love. Before the show\, enjoy a lunch featuring pork tenderloin\, coconut chicken\, halibut or vegetarian stuffed peppers. Complete your meal with a cherry crisp dessert\, accompanied by coffee\, tea and milk. You may purchase additional beverages on your own. Moderate walking is involved with this trip. Registration/cancellation deadline: February 6 (spaces permitting). Transportation provided via Park District van. \n  \nRegistration for this program/event begins at 9:00am on 12/5 for residents and 12/12 for non-residents. \n  \nRegister Now \n  \nTrip Information\nPick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center lobby unless otherwise noted. Listed trip times are approximate. A detailed itinerary will be emailed at least 48 hours before the trip. Return times may vary depending on traffic and/or weather conditions; we make every attempt to return by the designated time.  \nRefunds\nRefunds are only given under the following conditions:\n  1: The trip is canceled by the Barrington Park District.\n  2: The person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip.\n  3: The Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket.\n  4: If we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date. \nNo cancellations/refunds will be accepted after the Registration/cancellation deadline listed for each trip. \n\nAll payments are required in full at time of registration.
