Amid ocean breezes and the roar of B-29 bombers\, Ensign Nellie Forbush and Lt. Joseph Cable find themselves caught between duty and desire while navigating war\, romance and the realities of a divided world. This beloved Rodgers and Hammerstein classic challenges prejudice and celebrates the beauty of cultural understanding\, all while delivering some of Broadway’s most iconic songs – “Some Enchanted Evening\,” “I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair” and “Bali Ha’i.” South Pacific remains a powerful\, resonant story about love\, sacrifice and the dreams that carry us forward. Purchase lunch on your own prior to the show at a local restaurant. Minimal walking is involved with this trip. Registration/cancellation deadline: May 1 (spaces permitting). Transportation provided via Park District van. \n  \nRegistration for this program/event begins at 9:00am on12/4 for residents and 12/11 for non-residents. \n  \nRegister Now \n\nOur trips are perfect for those 21 years and older to get out and explore! \nTrip Policies & Cancellations\, Pick-up/Drop-off Locations and Times\nPick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center lobby unless otherwise noted. We depart promptly at the times listed. If changes occur\, participants will be notified by phone or e-mail. Return times may vary depending on traffic and/or weather conditions; we make every attempt to return by the designated time. \nRefunds\nRefunds are only given under the following conditions:\n1: The trip is canceled by the Barrington Park District.\n2: The person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip.\n3: The Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket.\n4: If we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date. \nNO CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE REGISTRATION/CANCELLATION DEADLINE FOR EACH TRIP.\nAll payments are required in full at time of registration.
