DESCRIPTION:Sec.#\nDay\nDate\nTime\nFee\n\n\n01\nThur.\n11/6\n7:30am – 5:00pm\n$100/$105 (1 day)\n\n\n\nPrepare to be amazed on a journey to the Field Museum! The motor coach will drop you off right at the entrance\, setting the stage for your adventure. You can explore various exhibits throughout the museum. Some of the highlights include (though not guaranteed): Inside Ancient Egypt\, SUE the T-Rex in the Griffin Halls of Evolving Planet and the Cyrus Tang Hall of China. Additionally\, don’t miss the chance to catch one of three 3-D movies that are available (self-pay). For lunch\, you can choose to dine at the Explorer Café or The Field Bistro. Lunch will also be self-pay. Snacks will be provided on the bus. Extensive walking is involved with this trip. Registration/cancellation deadline: October 17. (spaces permitting). Transportation provided via Park District van to Cary then motorcoach to Chicago. \n  \nRegistration for this program/event begins at 9:00am on 8/19 for residents and 8/22 for non-residents. \n  \nRegister Now \n  \nTrip Information\nPick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center lobby unless otherwise noted. Listed trip times are approximate. A detailed itinerary will be emailed at least 48 hours before the trip. The Fireside is proud to bring you this stunning\, live stage version of Frank Capra’s beloved film. Written by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning lyricist Sheldon Harnick\, one of the creators of “Fiddler on the Roof\,” and Grammy and Emmy Award winner Joe Raposo whose music from “Sesame Street” inspired generations of young people\, A Wonderful Life captures all the magic of the film as it shines with the spirit of Christmas. Before the show\, enjoy lunch featuring loaded baked potato soup\, freshly baked bread and a selection of dishes including chicken monterey\, grilled salmon\, sliced roast beef tenderloin or vegetarian tofu skewers. Complete your meal with Bailey’s Irish Cream cheesecake dessert\, accompanied by coffee\, tea and milk. Purchase additional beverages on your own. Moderate walking is involved with this trip.
