We will gather with friends from Crystal Lake and Cary Park Districts\, McHenry Parks and Recreation and the Village of Lake in the Hills to ring in the holiday season. A catered brunch of sweet and savory dishes from local restaurants including a soup and baked potato bar with coffee and lemonade\, plus a cash bar will be available for soda\, mixed drinks\, beer and wine. Bring your dollar bills for a chance to win the Pot of Gold for the event. ($1 tickets will be available for purchase the day of the event. You must be present to win.) Do not miss out on this annual holiday event full of food\, games\, raffles and entertainment. Minimal walking is involved with this trip. Registration/cancellation deadline: November 13 (space permitting). Pageantry and spectacle come to life in this iconic holiday production. WWII is over\, former GIs Bob and Phil have become a highly popular song and dance team who meet an equally talented up and coming sisters act. The men travel to a quaint ski resort in Vermont to watch sisters Betty and Judy perform. But once there\, they realize the mountain resort is owned by their former General\, who is about to lose it all. Plans begin to help save the beloved General and his business\, which culminates in a show filled with epic dance numbers\, spectacular costumes and a finale rendition of “White Christmas” that will make you a believer. This family favorite brings generations together to celebrate the magic of the holidays. Lunch will be on your own and self-pay.
