DESCRIPTION:Sec.#\nDay\nDate\nTime\nFee\n\n\n01\nFri.\n11/4\n9:00 – 11:30am\n$22/$27\n\n\n\nWith the busy holiday season upon us\, it’s time to relax\, take a deep breath and be thankful for everything around us. Come join our Preschool Teacher and Yoga Instructor\, Ms. Emily and give your child a beginner’s introduction to yoga\, mindfulness and meditation! \nWe will start the day inside with play-based themed stations\, an interactive circle time with music and movement and then a yoga “thankfulness” themed story with a mini yoga session. Weather permitting we will try and get outside for some fresh air and gross motor skill time.  All activities will be new and different from previous one-day yoga camps. \nThe Barrington Park District will provide yoga mats or you can also bring one from home. Please send your child in comfortable clothing that they can easily move around in (no dresses or skirts please)\, a nut-free snack and a water bottle with their name on it. Over 3400 certified educators are teaching this program in all 50 states and in more than 30 countries! The program consists of 21 simple exercise tools designed for all ages and abilities. These exercises\, based on everyday movements that are natural and organic\, focus on the health and longevity of the body and brain. \nBy practicing Ageless Grace for 10 minutes every day\, you can improve your brain health. DESCRIPTION:TRX is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength\, balance\, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. DESCRIPTION:Sec.#\nDay\nDate\nTime\nFee\n\n\n01\nWed.\n11/30\n10:30am – 5:30pm\n$87/$92 (1 day)\n\n\n\nFor ages: 21 years & up. \nWhen carefree nun-in-training Maria is sent by her convent to be the governess of seven children\, she finds herself unexpectedly questioning her choices in life and falling in love with the children’s stern father\, all the while the event of WWII play out in the background. One of the most beloved musicals of all time\, Sound of Music has been enchanting audiences for more than 50 years. The Paramount lobby will be decked out in holiday decorations\, including a two-story holiday tree. A holiday lunch will be at Galati’s in Cary. Menu is TBD. Transportation provided via Park District van. Registration deadline: October 8 (spaces permitting).  Minimal walking involved. \n  \nRegister Now \n  \nRegistration for this program/event begins at 9:00am on 8/4 for residents and 8/11 for non-residents. \n  \nTrip Policies & Cancellations \nSuggested Ages for Trips\nAdult/Active trips are appropriate for anyone ages 18 and over.\nMature Adult trips are most appropriate for ages 55 and up\, but all adults are welcome. \nPick-up/Drop-off Times\nPick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center – lobby unless otherwise noted. Departure times are set and abided by. If changes occur\, participants will be notified by phone. Return times may vary depending on traffic or weather conditions; we make every attempt to return by the designated time. \nRefunds\nRefunds are only given under the following conditions:\n1: The trip is cancelled by the Barrington Park District.\n2: The person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip.\n3: The Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket.\nIf we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date (if one is listed)\, then the trip will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued.
