While waiting for your tour at the Visitor Center\, take in the exhibit on the history of the Marsh. Following Horicon Marsh\, we will venture over to Cedarburg\, WI to spend time shopping and enjoy lunch on your own. Extensive walking is involved with this trip. Registration/cancellation deadline: August 20 (spaces permitting). Transportation provided via Park District van. \nRegistration for this program/event begins at 9:00am on 8/8 for residents and 8/14 for non-residents. \nRegister Now \n  \nTrip Information\nPick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center lobby unless otherwise noted. We will be traveling to Paramount Theaters in Aurora\, IL to see The Full Monty. From the unemployment line to the self-made man\, The Full Monty bares it all! This side-splitting musical follows Jerry\, Dave and pals; all part of a group of unemployed steelworkers in Buffalo\, New York. With their backs to the wall\, they decide to create a male strip show to help pay their mortgages and provide for their families after layoffs. Facing economic\, and in some cases personal\, disaster and their insecurities\, these taboo-busting boys bare their souls and their bodies. Thanks to a hearty blue-collar work ethic\, they happily abandon the daily unemployment grind for a different kind of grind\, stripping off the layers of toxic masculinity to reflect the true ingenuity of the American spirit! The Full Monty delivers a feel-good experience that challenges stereotypes and celebrates the triumph of the human spirit. Lunch will be on your own and self-pay.
