DESCRIPTION:Sec.#\nDay\nDate\nTime\nFee\n\n\n01\nWed.\n5/14\n11:00am – 5:30pm\n$55/$60 (1 day)\n\n\n\nEnjoy a little slice of “Broadway” right in our own backyard. We will be traveling to Paramount Theaters in Aurora\, IL to see Cats. The most beloved musical in theater history brings the colorful world of Cats to the stage. Inspired by a collection of poems by T.S. Eliot\, Cats\, the iconic musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber\, is a well-loved fantastical journey into the world of Jellicle Cats. Paramount’s creative team is re-envisioning this classic and bringing a new layer and energy to this clandestine world of felines. You may know all of the words\, but you’ll have never seen this Cats before! Cats won the Tony for Best Musical and Best Original Score. Lunch will be on your own and self-pay. Minimal walking is involved with this trip. Registration/cancellation deadline: April 18 (spaces permitting). Transportation provided via Park District van. \n  \nRegistration for this program/event begins at 9:00am on 12/5 for residents and 12/12 for non-residents. \n  \nRegister Now \n  \nTrip Information\nPick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center lobby unless otherwise noted. Listed trip times are approximate. A detailed itinerary will be emailed at least 48 hours before the trip. Return times may vary depending on traffic and/or weather conditions; we make every attempt to return by the designated time.  \nRefunds\nRefunds are only given under the following conditions:\n  1: The trip is canceled by the Barrington Park District.\n  2: The person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip.\n  3: The Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket.\n  4: If we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date. \nNo cancellations/refunds will be accepted after the Registration/cancellation deadline listed for each trip. \n\nAll payments are required in full at time of registration. DESCRIPTION:Sec.#\nDay\nDate\nTime\nFee\n\n\n01\nTue.\n5/20\n7:00am – 5:00pm\n$98/$95 (1 day)\n\n\n\nFrank Lloyd Wright used his first home in Oak Park\, IL to experiment with design concepts that contain the seeds of his architectural philosophy. In his adjacent studio\, Wright and his associates developed a new American Architecture – the Prairie Style. A guided tour of the inside of his home and studio as well as the Unity Temple give us a look into the beginning of his career. Lunch will be at Lou Malnati’s for thin crust pizza\, Malnati’s salad\, soda and a cookie. Next we will visit Hemmingway’s birthplace museum to explore the roots of the author’s life and work. Extensive walking is involved with this trip. Registration/cancellation deadline: April 29 (spaces permitting).
