When Barrington School District 220 has a scheduled day-off of school there is no K.E.E.P. held at the individual elementary schools. We offer an optional Day-Off Program at Langendorf Park which requires an additional registration and fees. Please see below for more information. K.E.E.P. is a DCFS license exempt program.

Drop-off and Pick-up is always at the Park District. Parents may NOT drop-off or pick-up from the field trip location. Sorry, no exceptions.

Happy Ho-Ho-Holidays
Happy HO-HO-Holidays! Spend the day with K.E.E.P. and enjoy a day full of celebration! We will doing all things Holiday related! Participants will have a magical time decorating cookies, creating thoughtful gifts for family and friends and of course, playing tons of games! We will end our day with a PG viewing of a holiday themed movie and of course, hot chocolate and popcorn will be enjoyed! Participants must provide their own sack lunch. An afternoon snack will be provided.
Monday, December 27
Winter Wonderland
Enjoy a day at the Barrington Park District as we enjoy winter activities! Participants will have the opportunity to go outside (weather permitting) and participate in snow activities such as: snowman building, snow painting and more! Winter themed games and activities will be planned to play throughout the day. Don’t forget to bring snow gear such as gloves, hats, snow pants and boots! Participants must provide their own sack lunch. An afternoon snack will be provided.

Gameshow Day
Who doesn’t love playing games? Join us for a super fun day of all things games! The Game Show Guru will bring the action as he hosts two teams competing in multiple physical challenge and trivia game show activities. The games are fast moving and nothing is more than two minutes. This is a day you won’t want to miss! Participants must provide their own sack lunch. An afternoon snack will be provided.

Mad About Movies
We’re taking a trip to the AMC to see a movie! Movie details will be available the week of December 20. Movie will be G or PG rated. Following the movie we will have a blast back at the Park District playing games with our friends. Participants must provide their own sack lunch. An afternoon snack will be provided. Departure and arrival back to the Park District will be emailed the week of December 20.

Magic
Let us cast a spell on you! Join us for a magic themed day with a performance by the one and only, Gary Kantor! Kids will be amazed at all the tricks he can do. They will even be sent home with their very own magic trick to show friends and family! After the show we will participate in games and activities and a magic themed craft! Participants must provide their own sack lunch. An afternoon snack will be provided.

Super Science
Let’s get creative! Bring out your inner scientist and enjoy some super cool science experiments with us. We will spend the day working on different experiments together. Each participant will go home with their very own packet of science projects! Participants must provide their own sack lunch. An afternoon snack will be provided.

Urban Air
If you haven’t had a chance to check out Urban Air, now’s your chance! Just us for an exciting day at the Trampoline Park. We will have a ton of fun on all the attractions Urban Air has to offer. Following the field trip we will have a fun afternoon of games and crafts. Participants must provide their own sack lunch. An afternoon snack will be provided.

What better way to spend winter break than cozying up and watching a movie? Participants will build their very own cardboard car to enjoy a movie and snacks. Main Event
What could be more fun than a day spent at Main Event! We will have an awesome day running around Main Event. Full of games, activities, bowling, and more, we guarantee your child will be entertained! A pizza lunch will be provided. If your child does not eat pizza or has an allergy please send them with a sack lunch. Socks and gym shoes are required.

We’re off to the races, Roller Races that is! Enjoy a fun day at XTREME Wheels in Crystal Lake roller skating! New to skating? No problem!
