Illinois Girls’ Lacrosse Association

grades 1 - 9

Pink Level (Grades 1 – 9):
Be part of a youth lacrosse league exclusively for girls from Chicago, north, northwest, west, and south suburbs. The emphasis of this program is to develop the girls within the sport of lacrosse. The goals of the program are to understand the rules of lacrosse, active teamwork, sportsmanship and foster personal development in a respectful environment led by positive coaching. Pink players practice once a week on Tuesdays at Ron Beese Park. Games are on Sundays between 12:00 – 6:00pm within your division.

Purple Level (Grades 3 – 9):
This level is for players who have more experience as well as a higher skill level. Experienced players interested in the Purple level must attend a Skills Assessment Session and will receive notification of placement before registering with their Park District. Girls who played Purple during the spring 2018 season DO NOT need to attend an assessment and DO NOT need to wait to register with their park district. All practices are twice per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Ron Beese Park. Games are held on Sunday afternoons between 1:00 – 6:00pm. Because there are fewer “Purple Level” teams, there may be more travel for game days.
