Looking for the next level of aqua challenge? Are you interested in Lifeguarding but not old enough? Introduction to Jr. Lifeguarding, a course taught by our pool leadership team, will teach you the basics of being a lifeguard. The first 2 weeks of the course will introduce participants to lifesaving skills, such as in water rescues, use of a rescue tube, first aid, CPR/AED and the responsibilities of being a lifeguard. As a Jr. Guard, you will also improve your swimming skills in order to help you successfully complete the course. Prerequisites: participants must have the ability to swim 150 meters using a basic stroke and tread water. This is a very popular class that fills quickly, register now! Please bring swimsuit, towel and sunblock to class each day.
