What better way to explore another culture than through its food? In this delicious camp, young chefs will cook recipes from countries all around the world and explore food history, customs, songs, geography, and languages associated with each recipe. Young chefs will cook and gobble up tasty, healthy cuisine from many global nations!

Global Taste Buds Recipe Teaser: MONGOLIA: Mighty Mongolian Fried Rice + Cumin Frizzled Onions + Warm Mongolian Cinnamon Milk Tea. RWANDA: Real Rwandan Spiced Honey Bread + Two-Handed Honey-Lemon Butter + Lemony Honeyed Milkshakes. ISRAEL: Incredible Israeli Levivot Fruit Fritters + Creamy Vanilla Dipping Sauce + Very Vanilla Floats MEXICO: Kid-Innovated Totally Tasty Tostadas + Speedy Skillet “Refried” Beans + Mexican Chili Limeade.

 

CALLING ALL COOL-INARY KIDS! One of the best things about cooking is that it can transport us to faraway places we’ve only dreamed of, while also exposing us to new foods and connecting us to global cultures. Our campers will cook up healthy recipes and taste new flavors from places like Ethiopia, Korea, Spain, Scotland, Italy and more. Our super fun culinary themes tie in popular cooking shows, books, and travel to give campers the opportunity to release their inner chef and explorer! At Sticky Fingers Cooking, we are passionate about young campers discovering the joys of cooking and sharing healthy, super tasty food that nourishes their bodies and minds! (aka: turning picky eaters into enthusiastic, healthy food explorers!)
