Enjoy lunch and a great show at Drury Lane! Based on true events, Evita tells the story of Eva Perón’s rags-to-riches life as she goes from poor provincial child to First Lady of Argentina. A champion of the working-class, she uses popularity and politics to serve her people and herself. Featuring some of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s most iconic songs, including “Don’t Cry for Me, Argentina,” this musical masterpiece won seven Tony Awards. Lunch includes: mixed green salad and your choice of chicken breast with lemon thyme jus, pork medallions with chimichurri sauce, or vegetable kabob with wild rice and balsamic glaze. Peach melba dessert, coffee and hot or iced tea will be provided.
Registration deadline: January 27 (spaces permitting).
Transportation provided via Park District van.
Registrations for this program/event begins December 2 at 9:00am for residents and December 9 at 9:00am for non-residents.
Trip Policies & Cancellations
Suggested Ages for Trips
Adult/Active trips are appropriate for anyone ages 18 and over.
Mature Adult trips are most appropriate for ages 55 and up, but all adults are welcome.
Pick-up/Drop-off Times
Pick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center – lobby unless otherwise noted. Departure times are set and abided by. If changes occur, participants will be notified by phone. Return times may vary depending on traffic or weather conditions; we make every attempt to return by the designated time.
Refunds
Refunds are only given under the following conditions:
1: The trip is cancelled by the Barrington Park District.
2: The person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip.
3: The Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket.
If we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date (if one is listed), then the trip will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued. All payments are required in full at time of registration. Please notify the Park District in advance if any special ADA or dietary accommodations are needed for the trip.
