As the COVID-19 pandemic continues and the Park District is subject to Executive Orders issued by Governor Pritzker, we cannot say if and when certain Park District programs will re-open.
However, the Park District needs to plan for certain contingencies for when we might re-open. Therefore, we will continue to accept applications for various positions. Please note that even if your application is accepted and an interview may be scheduled, the Park District will be unable to give any offers of employment until there is direction from the Governor, approved by the Park District Board of Park Commissioners, that the Park District may safely resume operations.
Volunteering
Volunteering at the Park District is a wonderful opportunity to fulfill volunteer or community service requirements or just to “give back.” We do not need a daily commitment from you, but simply some assistance on an “as needed” basis. If interested, please call the Park District at (847) 381-0687.
