Lifeguarding

For Ages: 15 years and up

The purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding course is to provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries, and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services arrive.

Pool - Learn to Swim - Infant/Tot Aquatics

For Ages: 6 - 48 months with parent

Our Infant/Tot Aquatics program for children ages 6 to 48 months will give parent and child an opportunity to participate in individual/group activities that promote adjustments to water skills such as front or back position in the water and demonstrating breath control, including blowing bubbles or voluntarily submerging under water.

Pool - Learn to Swim - Level 4: Stroke Improvement

For Ages: 6 years and up

Stroke Improvement (Level 4) builds on those skills and introduces swimming under water, feet-first surface dive, survival swimming, front crawl and backstroke open turns, treading water with 2 kicks, front/back crawl, elementary backstroke, breaststroke, sidestroke, and butterfly and additional water safety skills.
