Membership Overview

 

Our yearly memberships are available with two payment options:

  1. Monthly Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). First payment due in cash or credit card (no AMEX) only.
  2. Memberships PAID IN FULL (price reflects a 10% discount).

 

Membership Age Information

Adult: (18 – 59 years)
Senior: (60 years & up) proof of age required.
College Student: (18 – 23 years) must show College ID and proof of age.
Teen Ages 14 – 17 years:
must complete Fit Teen Orientation with a Barrington Park District Personal Trainer before purchasing a membership and using the Fitness Center. For more information on the Fit Teen Orientation, please call (847) 304-5279 or click here to email the Health and Fitness Manager.

Guest Passes

     Three per year for annual memberships.
     One every three months for 3-month memberships.
     Guests under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign all waivers and forms.
     Drop-In, Punch Cards, Student One Month and Track memberships not eligible.

 

30-Minute Orientation

Provided by a Certified Personal Trainer for all NEW fitness memberships.

     Access to ONE Fitness Class (including Active Senior Classes) OR ONE Team Training class. Does NOT include aqua classes.

Track Membership Fees

     Indoor running/walking track.

Children under the age of 10 are not permitted to use the track. Ages 11 – 13 may use the track when accompanied and under the direct supervision of an adult. Ages 14 years and older are permitted to use the track with the purchase of a track pass or Fitness Center pass. Membership not eligible for guest passes. Other rules apply. Fit Teen Orientation

Fitness Membership Cancellation Policy

For all cancellations and/or refunds, a Fitness Cancellation Request Form must be completed, dated and signed by the Health and Fitness Manager. Cancellations and/or refunds will not be processed if any paperwork is missing or incomplete. A cancellation fee equal to one month’s dues will be applied to all 3-month and 12-month memberships. Proper paperwork must accompany the Refund Request Form (i.e. doctor’s note, closing documents, etc).

Annual Memberships:

  Refunds will only be given in case of medical restrictions or moving out of the area (ten mile radius).
  Proper paperwork must accompany the Refund Request Form (i.e. doctor’s note, closing documents, etc).
•  Refunds are pro-rated from the date of purchase until the completed paperwork is turned in.

EFT Memberships:

  One-year commitment required. Refunds will only be given in case of medical restrictions or moving out of the area (ten mile radius). Proper paperwork must accompany the Refund Request Form (i.e. doctor’s note, closing documents, etc).
•  A cancellation fee equal to one month’s dues will be applied if cancelling within the first year of the membership under qualifying cancellation policies.
• After one year, a patron may request to cancel their membership only in writing with no penalty.
•  Refund Request Form must be received by the first of the month to avoid the current month’s charge.
