A day of theater, food and friends is on the agenda for you! Enjoy a self-pay lunch at one of the many excellent Arlington Heights restaurants near the theater. Then meet at the Metropolis for the performance. When two strangers meet by letter during World War II, a captivating love story begins. U.S. Army Captain Jack Ludwig writes to Louise Rabiner, an aspiring actress in New York City, but the expanding war threatens to separate them permanently. This energetic, heartwarming comedy is infused with nostalgic nods to the era’s music, theater and literature. Inspired by the true, WWII-era courtship of his parents, Tony Award-winning playwright Ken Ludwig fills Dear Jack, Dear Louise with romance, history and charm. Moderate walking is involved with this trip. Registration/cancellation deadline: July 1 (spaces permitting). Transportation provided via Park District van.

Trip Policies & Cancellations, Pick-up/Drop-off Locations and Times
Pick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center lobby unless otherwise noted. We depart promptly at the times listed. If changes occur, participants will be notified by phone or e-mail. Return times may vary depending on traffic and/or weather conditions; we make every attempt to return by the designated time.
Refunds
Refunds are only given under the following conditions:
1: The trip is canceled by the Barrington Park District.
2: The person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip.
3: The Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket.
4: If we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date.
All payments are required in full at time of registration. Please notify the Park District in advance if any special ADA or dietary accommodations are needed for the trip.
