A Letter From Heather

Dear Audience,

What a year we have had! You may see some new classes on stage today. You may also see many returning faces from recitals in the past. All our welcome to share their talent and hard work on our stage. Not all of our fellow dancers are together this year as we divided into two shows; but we are all united in spirit and celebration of the art of dance. Our performers have been together since January working every week to produce what you are about to see. Our instructors have dedicated themselves to creating the music and movement and lights that bring this show to life. I have seen such improvement in their dances over these last months. I hope all our dancers feel proud of what they have accomplished. Performing art is a special moment in time where your dancers come together to create something that will never be seen again. It is special and unique. Even trained professionals will tell you “No two shows are ever alike.” Thank you, dear audience, for being a part of our performance.

This year’s recital is also so very special as we say good bye to one of our own. You may not have yet heard; Ms. Barb will be leaving us for a new adventure in the Fall, retirement. She will still be teaching dance this summer so you have one last chance to dance with her in the studio. 2025 marks her last dance recital. I know it will be a great show to honor her lustrous career. Ms. Barb we all say farewell, we love you, we wish you the best as you embark on your next chapter. Close curtain.

Please cheer, applaud and enjoy The Elements,

Heather Goldman
