Do you enjoy visiting local downtown areas to explore, eat and shop? Then come along with Heather as we enjoy an afternoon together. Come for just one or all four of these fun excursions. These trips will be fully self-guided so move at your own pace and see how much YOU want to see. These local towns hold treasures and secrets that should not be missed. Let us do the driving so you can enjoy some shopping with friends. Each of these locations will have something for everyone. Extensive walking may be included in these shopping tours. Transportation provided via Park District van.
Registration for this program/event begins at 9:00am on 8/19 for residents and 8/22 for non-residents.
Our trips are perfect for those 21 years and older to get out and explore!
Trip Policies & Cancellations, Pick-up/Drop-off Locations and Times
Pick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center lobby unless otherwise noted. We depart promptly at the times listed. If changes occur, participants will be notified by phone or e-mail. Return times may vary depending on traffic and/or weather conditions; we make every attempt to return by the designated time.
Refunds
Refunds are only given under the following conditions:
1: The trip is canceled by the Barrington Park District.
2: The person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip.
3: The Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket.
4: If we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date.
All payments are required in full at time of registration. Please notify the Park District in advance if any special ADA or dietary accommodations are needed for the trip.
