We’re heading to The Fireside in Ft. Atkinson for a great show! In 1962 Baltimore, Tracy Turnblad – a big-hearted teen with a passion for dance – lands a spot on a hit TV dance show and becomes an overnight star. Using her fame, she takes on teen queen Amber, wins over heartthrob Link and fights to integrate the show. Winner of 8 Tony Awards, Hairspray is a joyful, high-energy celebration of acceptance, equality and the power of standing up for what’s right. Before the show, enjoy a delicious meal featuring a fresh spring salad, freshly baked bread, and your choice of coffee, tea or milk. Select one of the following entrées: pretzel-crusted chicken, baked almond-crusted cod, barbecued baby back ribs or vegetarian flatbread pizza. Finish your meal with a slice of key lime pie for dessert. Purchase additional beverages on your own. Moderate walking is involved with this trip. Registration/cancellation deadline: March 25 (spaces permitting). Transportation provided via Park District van.
Registration for this program/event begins at 9:00am on12/4 for residents and 12/11 for non-residents.

Trip Policies & Cancellations, Pick-up/Drop-off Locations and Times
Pick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center lobby unless otherwise noted. We depart promptly at the times listed. If changes occur, participants will be notified by phone or e-mail. Return times may vary depending on traffic and/or weather conditions; we make every attempt to return by the designated time.
Refunds
Refunds are only given under the following conditions:
1: The trip is canceled by the Barrington Park District.
2: The person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip.
3: The Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket.
4: If we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date.
NO CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE REGISTRATION/CANCELLATION DEADLINE FOR EACH TRIP.
All payments are required in full at time of registration. Please notify the Park District in advance if any special ADA or dietary accommodations are needed for the trip.
