Chicago Crime Tour & Eataly

For ages: 21 and up
Escape into Chicago’s underworld on a crime and mob tour with stops on and off the bus. Our guide will tell true crime stories about Al Capone, the Untouchables, the Chicago Mob, John Dillinger and more! Visit historic landmark buildings including the Biograph Theater, Holy Name Cathedral, Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse and others. After the tour, enjoy Chicago-style deep-dish pizza at Giordano’s. After lunch, visit Eataly – a vibrant Italian marketplace. The Eataly concept was born with a simple idea: to gather under one roof high-quality food at sustainable and reasonable prices for all, celebrate Italian biodiversity, create an informal, natural and simple place to eat, shop and learn.
Registration deadline: March 15 (spaces permitting).
Transportation provided via motor coach bus.
Registrations for this program/event begins December 2 at 9:00am for residents and December 9 at 9:00am for non-residents.
Trip Policies & Cancellations
Suggested Ages for Trips
Adult/Active trips are appropriate for anyone ages 18 and over.
Mature Adult trips are most appropriate for ages 55 and up, but all adults are welcome.
Pick-up/Drop-off Times
Pick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center – lobby unless otherwise noted. Departure times are set and abided by. If changes occur, participants will be notified by phone. Return times may vary depending on traffic or weather conditions; we make every attempt to return by the designated time.
Refunds
Refunds are only given under the following conditions:
1: The trip is cancelled by the Barrington Park District.
2: The person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip.
3: The Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket.
If we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date (if one is listed), then the trip will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued. All payments are required in full at time of registration. Please notify the Park District in advance if any special ADA or dietary accommodations are needed for the trip.
