Chicago Field Museum Private Tour

Walk through our doors and connect with science and natural history! Let us fuel your passion for discovery with dinosaurs, ancient artifacts, cultural insights and groundbreaking science. One of the museum’s knowledgable docents will lead us through several permanent collections on their guided Museum Highlight tour. Participants will also have time to explore the additional exhibits on their own including: D-Day Warriors: American Indians in the Military, Inside Ancient Egypt, Cyrus Tang Hall of China, Maximo the Tyrannosaur and more! Gourmet box lunch is included. Please make your lunch selection at time of registration. Smoked turkey breast, black forest ham club or California wrap (grilled chicken). Each comes with a side salad, chips, home made cookie and an assortment of soft drinks or water.
Registration deadline: February 13 (spaces permitting).
Transportation provided via motor coach.

Trip Policies & Cancellations
Suggested Ages for Trips
Adult/Active trips are appropriate for anyone ages 18 and over.
Mature Adult trips are most appropriate for ages 55 and up, but all adults are welcome.
Pick-up/Drop-off Times
Pick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center – lobby unless otherwise noted. Departure times are set and abided by. If changes occur, participants will be notified by phone. Return times may vary depending on traffic or weather conditions; we make every attempt to return by the designated time.
Refunds
Refunds are only given under the following conditions:
1: The trip is cancelled by the Barrington Park District.
2: The person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip.
3: The Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket.
If we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date (if one is listed), then the trip will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued. All payments are required in full at time of registration. Please notify the Park District in advance if any special ADA or dietary accommodations are needed for the trip.
