Would you like to visit Buffalo Bill Museum which highlights both local and regional historical artifacts? First, we will be traveling to one of the most interesting biker bars in Illinois called Poopy’s. Its menu offers your typical pub items like burgers, chicken wings, sandwiches, hot dogs and appetizers like mozzarella sticks, fried pickles along with a full bar. Once we are done with lunch, we will travel to the Buffalo Bill Museum for a guided tour through the 1800’s. Once the tour has concluded, participants will have the opportunity to walk the downtown LeClaire, Iowa area which encompasses American Pickers, boutiques and many other shops.

Registration deadline: October 15 (spaces permitting). Lunch is not included in the cost and is self-pay.

Transportation provided via Park District van to Crystal Lake Park District to board a Coach Bus.

Trip Policies & Cancellations

Suggested Ages for Trips
Adult/Active trips are appropriate for anyone ages 18 and over.
Mature Adult trips are most appropriate for ages 55 and up, but all adults are welcome.

Pick-up/Drop-off Times
Pick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center – lobby unless otherwise noted. Departure times are set and abided by. If changes occur, participants will be notified by phone. Return times may vary depending on traffic or weather conditions; we make every attempt to return by the designated time.

Refunds
Refunds are only given under the following conditions:
1: The trip is cancelled by the Barrington Park District.
2: The person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip.
3: The Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket.
If we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date (if one is listed), then the trip will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued. All payments are required in full at time of registration. Please notify the Park District in advance if any special ADA or dietary accommodations are needed for the trip.
