Day Trip: Out & About; Schmaltz Deli

Leave the driving to us when you want to enjoy a classic New York Style Jewish Delicatessen much closer to home. Here you can enjoy premium quality sandwiches, homemade soups, salad, and bakery selections. Can’t make up your mind what to try? You can bring items home from their full-service deli counter. We will order off their lunch menu and it will be self-pay. If you would like to take a look ahead of time, visit their website at www.schmaltzdeli.com. We hope you come hungry! Minimal walking involved with this trip. Registration deadline: March 27 (spaces permitting). Transportation provided via Park District van.

Registration for this program/event begins at 9:00am on 12/7 for residents and 12/14 for non-residents.

Trip Policies & Cancellations

Suggested Ages for Trips
Adult/Active trips are appropriate for anyone ages 18 and over.
Mature Adult trips are most appropriate for ages 55 and up, but all adults are welcome.

Pick-up/Drop-off Times
Pick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center – lobby unless otherwise noted. Departure times are set and abided by. If changes occur, participants will be notified by phone. Return times may vary depending on traffic or weather conditions; we make every attempt to return by the designated time.

Refunds
Refunds are only given under the following conditions:
1: The trip is cancelled by the Barrington Park District.
2: The person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip.
3: The Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket.
If we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date (if one is listed), then the trip will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued. All payments are required in full at time of registration. Please notify the Park District in advance if any special ADA or dietary accommodations are needed for the trip.
