Day Trip: Dreamgirls – Paramount Aurora

For ages: 21 years & up.

Meet the Dreamettes as Motown is on the rise in the 1960s. These three women are trying to break their way onto the music scene. When car salesman, Curtis Taylor Jr., signs the three singers to a record label, he sets in motion a series of events that will forever change their lives, for better and for worse. Join the Dreamgirls as they navigate the highs and lows of life, love and fame. Prior to the show, we will have lunch at the Paramount with your choice of protein TBD, salad, rolls, vegetable, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage. Registration deadline: September 13 (spaces permitting). Transportation provided via Park District van. Moderate walking involved.

Registration for this program/event begins at 9:00am on 8/4 for residents and 8/11 for non-residents.

Trip Policies & Cancellations

Suggested Ages for Trips
Adult/Active trips are appropriate for anyone ages 18 and over.
Mature Adult trips are most appropriate for ages 55 and up, but all adults are welcome.

Pick-up/Drop-off Times
Pick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center – lobby unless otherwise noted. Departure times are set and abided by. If changes occur, participants will be notified by phone. Return times may vary depending on traffic or weather conditions; we make every attempt to return by the designated time.

Refunds
Refunds are only given under the following conditions:
1: The trip is cancelled by the Barrington Park District.
2: The person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip.
3: The Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket.
If we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date (if one is listed), then the trip will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued. All payments are required in full at time of registration. Please notify the Park District in advance if any special ADA or dietary accommodations are needed for the trip.
