Day Trip: Mules, Marigolds & Mimosas I & M Canal Boat Tour Trip

Pair the I&M Canal Boat Tour with a visit to another local treasure, the gorgeous Weber Gardens! Enjoy a relaxing and educational ride on the I&M Canal, then kick back with mimosas at the Boat Captain’s Lunch, courtesy of the Lock 16 Cafe. Next, venture to the whimsical world of Ted Weber and his Storybook-style house with over two acres of stunning English gardens. The gardens are complete with fountains, statues, and other ornamental features. This fun-filled trip is the perfect way to get outdoors and enjoy the sunshine! Registration deadline: August 11 (spaces permitting). Transportation provided via Park District van.
Trip Policies & Cancellations
Suggested Ages for Trips
Adult/Active trips are appropriate for anyone ages 18 and over.
Mature Adult trips are most appropriate for ages 55 and up, but all adults are welcome.
Pick-up/Drop-off Times
Pick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center – lobby unless otherwise noted. Departure times are set and abided by. If changes occur, participants will be notified by phone. Return times may vary depending on traffic or weather conditions; we make every attempt to return by the designated time.
Refunds
Refunds are only given under the following conditions:
1: The trip is cancelled by the Barrington Park District.
2: The person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip.
3: The Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket.
If we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date (if one is listed), then the trip will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued. All payments are required in full at time of registration. Please notify the Park District in advance if any special ADA or dietary accommodations are needed for the trip.
