Join BACOA and the Barrington Park District for an up-close, Bright Encounters 35-minute, narrated tour of the Heritage Garden, the Rose Garden, Waterfall Garden and Enabling Gardens. Visitors will see changing displays of annual flowers and learn about the Garden’s science and conservation projects. There will be plenty of time to explore this 385-acre site and its exhibits, uniquely situated on nine islands surrounded by lakes. Relax amidst the beauty, and enjoy lunch on your own at the Garden Café.

Transportation is provided via Mini Bus and the Park District van.

Registration deadline: June 7th. Please call the Park District to
confirm availability.


Trip Policies & Cancellations

Suggested Ages for Trips
Adult/Active trips are appropriate for anyone ages 18 and over.
Mature Adult trips are most appropriate for ages 55 and up,
but all adults are welcome.

Pick-up/Drop-off Times
Pick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center - lobby unless otherwise noted. Departure times are set and abided by. If changes occur, participants will be notified by phone. Return times may vary depending on traffic or weather conditions; we make every attempt to return by the designated time.

Refunds
Refunds are only given under the following conditions:
1: The trip is cancelled by the Barrington Park District.
2: The person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip.
3: The Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket.
If we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date (if one is listed), then the trip will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued. All payments are required in full at time of registration. Please notify the Park District in advance if any special ADA or dietary accommodations are needed for the trip.
