K.E.E.P. After School Support Staff 2018/2019 School Year


The Barrington Park District is seeking out qualified, high energetic individuals who love working, playing and interacting with children in our K.E.E.P. After School Program for the 2018/2019 School Year (August 2018-May 2019).


  • 16 years of age or older
  • Previous experience working with children is a plus
  • Must be able to be certified in First Aid, CPR and AED within 2 months of hire


  • Supervise participants while protecting their physical, psychological and emotional health
  • Acts as a positive role model while teaching and encouraging healthy leisure lifestyle
  • Maintains and implements safety standards and procedures at all times to ensure a well-rounded program in a safe, positive enrollment
  • Is actively involved in all aspects of the participant's day
  • Will enforce all K.E.E.P.  policies and procedures
  • Will establish and maintain a positive liaison with parents, park staff and the community
  • Other duties as assigned

HOURS (Hiring for 5-day Afternoon shifts):

  • Afternoons: M/Tu/Th/F from 2:00pm - 6:00pm & W from 1:30pm - 6:00pm. BHS Students & Staff please contact keep@barringtonparkdistrict.org regarding your availability.
  • Hiring for the following site locations: Roslyn Road, Grove, Lines, Hough, North Barrington and Countryside Elementary Schools


  • Minimum Wage - $11 per hour. Based on experience in related field and/or education
