The Barrington Park District would like to inform you of a TEMPORARY traffic pattern change at Langendorf Park due to utility work as part of the referendum project. As many of you know, the construction process can often be unpredictable. Despite our best efforts to plan accordingly, certain factors that are beyond our control can arise including being at the discretion of the utility companies to schedule the work.
Starting THIS FRIDAY (9/20) through Wednesday (9/25) ONLY, the entrance to the Fitness and Recreation Center main parking lot will be via Lions Drive.
- If coming to the Fitness and Recreation Center, please use Lions Drive off of Rte. 14 (next to McDonalds) or off of Hough St./Rte. 59 (south of Walgreens).
-
You WILL be able to access the Golf Course and The Clubhouse via Carl Avenue.
-
You will NOT be able to enter the Fitness and Recreation Center/Main Parking Lot via Carl Avenue.
- You will NOT be able to access the Golf Course and The Clubhouse via Lions Drive.
The Park District is committed to keeping Patrons informed in a timely manner as we navigate these changes. We are still awaiting an update from ComEd regarding the re-scheduling of the closure dates for the Fitness and Recreation Center. Rest assured, we will keep you updated as soon as new closure dates are determined.
Please note a program Supervisor will be emailing you with specific information regarding your activities and programs.
We value your continued support, patience and understanding as unexpected challenges arise during this evolving project. As a token of our gratitude, refreshments will be available in the main lobby for you to enjoy during the month of October.
Thank you again for your continued support. Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the Director of the Park District Terry Jennings.
