Chicago Multi-Cultural Food Tour

The ever popular food tour is back for new neighborhoods and new food! The day starts with a trip to Chicago’s vibrant Mexican neighborhood, Pilsen, for the cultural experience and a traditional breakfast sampling. Next, we head to Greektown to get some of the most requested appetizers and shouting out “OPA”! From there we turn our eyes to the Emerald Isle, as we sample traditional Irish pub fare. The day concludes with a treat at an authentic German bakery. Don’t miss this great trip where you will be getting a great history lesson of the different neighborhoods while filling your belly with the great foods from the culture.
Transportation is provided via mini bus.

Trip Policies & Cancellations
Suggested Ages for Trips
Adult/Active trips are appropriate for anyone ages 18 and over.
Mature Adult trips are most appropriate for ages 55 and up,but all adults are welcome.
Pick-up/Drop-off Times
Pick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center – lobby unless otherwise noted. Departure times are set and abided by. If changes occur, participants will be notified by phone. Return times may vary depending on traffic or weather conditions; we make every attempt to return by the designated time.
Refunds
Refunds are only given under the following conditions:
1: The trip is cancelled by the Barrington Park District.
2: The person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip.
3: The Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket.
If we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date (if one is listed), then the trip will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued. All payments are required in full at time of registration. Please notify the Park District in advance if any special ADA or dietary accommodations are needed for the trip.
