Pool - Deep Sea Explorers (Formally: Group Youth Learn to Swim Program)

5 years and up

The Deep Sea Explorers program is perfect for swimmers of all levels. Using the American Red Cross Instructional Aquatic Program, each level is progressive. Students begin at Level 1 and progress to Level 5 as they complete each level.

Please register for the level that you feel best suits each participant’s current skill set. All students will be skill-tested on the first day of lessons for EACH SESSION to ensure that they are placed in the appropriate class. Students may be moved to a higher or lower skill group depending upon their age, individual comfort level and/or aquatic skills.

How to Register for the Deep Sea Explorers program:
Step 1: Choose the level (see descriptions below). Each level has its own activity number. Use that activity number when registering.
Step 2: Choose the date and time you would like to participate in that class from the chart to the right.

Don’t know which level is right for your child? Attend a FREE Swim Lesson Evaluation (information below).

Swim Lesson Evaluation

This FREE evaluation takes the guess work out of signing up for swim lessons.  Whether your child is new to swimming or coming back after the long winter break, this evaluation is designed to provide children confidence  in the water and clarity that you are signing up for the right level. Our experienced swim instructors will assess your child’s water-based abilities and recommend the best level, ensuring a safe and successful swim lesson experience. Already registered for a level? No problem! Save time on the first day of lessons by attending an evaluation.
