Learn to swim like a real mermaid in this magical and one-of-a-kind class! Each participant will receive a colorful mermaid tail and learn how to move through the water using a combination of their legs and the tail. Students will be taught basic mermaid swimming techniques, including how to glide, flip and spin just like their favorite underwater characters. Mermaids in training will also learn how to safely wear and care for their tail, practice monofin swimming and even try a little synchronized swimming. Fun games, imaginative play and lots of splashing make this class a truly unforgettable experience. Get ready to dive into an underwater world full of enchantment, laughter and big mermaid smiles!
Participants must be at least 7 years of age, be comfortable in the water and are strong swimmers. Participants will receive a mermaid tail, please indicate your child’s pant size when registering. Please note the mermaid tail can ONLY be worn in Kraken Cove during the Mermaid in Training class but is theirs to take home after class. This class is rain or shine. If inclement weather, class will meet in the Kraken Cove Party Room.
