Looking for the next level of aqua challenge? Are you interested in Lifeguarding but not old enough? Introduction to Jr. Lifeguarding, a course taught by our pool leadership team, will teach you the basics of being a lifeguard. The first 2 weeks of the course will introduce participants to lifesaving skills such as in water rescues, use of a rescue tube, first aid, CPR/AED and the responsibilities of being a lifeguard. As a Jr. Guard, you will also improve your swimming skills in order to help you successfully complete the course. This is a very popular class that fills quickly, so register now! Please bring swimsuit, towel and sunblock to class each day. This class is VERY active and runs the Jr. Guards through an actual lifeguard training. Prerequisites: participants must have the ability to swim 150 yards using a basic stroke and tread water.
