Come explore the world of books while also getting out your energy all in one class. This class is designed for those who are ready to start navigating and socializing on their own. Each week will have a theme based around the book we read. We will start the day in the preschool classroom with fun activities and stations focusing on fine motor skills, literacy, art and more. We will then end the last 45-minutes of class in the tot-time gym room where we will get out our energy and build our gross motor skills on obstacle courses, playing with the parachute and more! We will learn through play and teach those emerging social skills to help prepare your little one for preschool in the fall. Please note: This is a drop-off class without parent/caregiver. However, if your child is not fully potty-trained, you must be accessible and be able to get back to the Park District within 10 minutes to change a diaper/pull-up.
