Chicago Lakeside Tour via Tall Ships and Navy Pier

Location: Depart F&RC – Lobby for Joliet, IL
Leave the hustle and bustle behind and enjoy a leisurely skyline sail aboard Chicago’s official Tall Ship. The crew explores Chicago’s architectural majesty while sailing across Chicago’s beautiful lakefront skyline. To learn about the people, plans and persistence that shaped Chicago’s most famous sights, join us on the main deck. From the historical maritime roots to modern science and technology, delight in the interesting facts, unique stories and a healthy dose of whimsy. This is a 90 minute tour. After the tour head to Navy Pier for lunch on your own. Arrive back at the bus by 3:30pm to head home. Transportation provided via motor coach bus.

Trip Policies & Cancellations
Suggested Ages for Trips
Adult/Active trips are appropriate for anyone ages 18 and over.
Mature Adult trips are most appropriate for ages 55 and up, but all adults are welcome.
Pick-up/Drop-off Times
Pick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center – lobby unless otherwise noted. Departure times are set and abided by. If changes occur, participants will be notified by phone. Return times may vary depending on traffic or weather conditions; we make every attempt to return by the designated time.
Refunds
Refunds are only given under the following conditions:
1: The trip is cancelled by the Barrington Park District.
2: The person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip.
3: The Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket.
If we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date (if one is listed), then the trip will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued. All payments are required in full at time of registration. Please notify the Park District in advance if any special ADA or dietary accommodations are needed for the trip.
